DAKSpro Basic Course for Service Specialists

This is a course for service specialists. The course content includes the DAKS/OScAR-200, -300 and -400 hardware as well as the configuration and operation of the 'Broadcasts/Alerting' software application.

After completing the course, the participant will be able to install and commission DAKS/OScAR-200/300/400 and DAKS/OScAR-Satellite, administer the 'Broadcasts/Alerting' software application with its extensions and set up data interfaces.

Furthermore, the participant can carry out DAKSpro/OScAR-Pro updates and provide customer briefings.

The course participant:

• can install and commission the DAKSpro/OScAR-Pro application package,
• can operate the DAKSpro/OScAR-Pro operator and administration tool,
• can administer the SW application 'Broadcasts/Alerting' and its extensions,
• can install and commission the DAKS/OScAR-Satellite,
• knows the basic serial and IP-based data interfaces of DAKSpro/OScAR-Pro,
• knows the security features of DAKSpro/OScAR-Pro,
• can carry out DAKSpro/OScAR-Pro updates,
• is able to provide customer training.

For a meaningful participation in the DAKSpro/OScAR-Pro basic course for service technicians, we require basic telecommunications knowledge (VoIP, ISDN, PBXs, soft switches, unified communications (UC), trunking, signaling protocols,...).
